The event featured inspiring discussions on key sustainability topics, including civic engagement, digital responsibility, sustainable development, and youth-driven innovation. Experts from various fields presented actionable insights, providing attendees with the tools and knowledge necessary to integrate sustainable practices into their daily lives and professional endeavors.
These conversations reinforced the role of young people as powerful agents of change in driving forward the sustainable development agenda. The Green Netiquette project demonstrated that sustainability extends beyond physical environments and must also encompass the digital space. It encouraged individuals and organizations to make conscious decisions regarding their digital behaviors, from reducing their digital footprint to considering the ethical use of technology.
The project’s final panel discussion, featuring Eleni Modou, Eliška Nacházelová, Enita Sprince and Alessandra Russo, from Youthmakers Hub, UJEP, Eurospeak Erasmus and Carolina Albasio University respectively, showcased the tangible outcomes of the initiative, including key findings and lessons learned. The Green Netiquette project has not only created a foundation for future collaborations but has also paved the way for more youth-led initiatives that promote responsible digital engagement and environmental awareness.
As we look to the future, the lessons from the Green Netiquette project will continue to influence how we approach sustainability in both the digital and physical realms. The project serves as a powerful reminder of the crucial role digital responsibility plays in securing a sustainable future.
